Martial Arts Club – Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in any classes, events, or activities provided by Amos Martial Arts. By enrolling, attending, or participating in any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Membership & Participation
1.1. Membership is open to individuals aged 5 and above. Minors must have the written consent of a parent or legal guardian.
1.2. The Club reserves the right to accept or reject membership applications at its sole discretion.
2. Health & Safety
2.1. You confirm that you are in good physical condition and have no medical reason to prevent your participation in martial arts training.
2.2. You agree to disclose any existing injuries or health conditions that may affect your safety or that of others.
2.3. Protective equipment must be worn as required. The Club reserves the right to deny participation to anyone not appropriately equipped.
2.4. First aid may be administered by a qualified Club staff member in case of injury or emergency.
3. Code of Conduct
3.1. Respect for instructors, fellow students, and Club property is mandatory.
3.2. Aggressive, abusive, or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate suspension or termination of membership without refund.
3.3. Members must adhere to the etiquette standards of the Club.
3.4. Bullying, harassment, or discrimination of any kind is strictly prohibited.
4. Fees & Payments
4.1. All membership and class fees must be paid in advance, as per the pricing schedule.
4.2. Missed classes will not be refunded.
4.3. Late payments may incur additional fees or result in suspension of training privileges.
4.4. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law.
5. Liability & Waiver
5.1. You understand that participation in martial arts involves physical activity and carries the risk of injury.
5.2. By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with training and agree to release and hold harmless the Club, its owners, instructors, and affiliates from any liability for injury, loss, or damage.
5.3. The Club holds appropriate public liability insurance, but this does not extend to personal accident or property coverage for members.
6. Media Release
6.1. From time to time, the Club may take photographs or videos during classes or events. These may be used for promotional purposes.
6.2. You may opt out by providing written notice to the Club.
7. Cancellations & Terminations
7.1. The Club reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to unforeseen circumstances. Reasonable notice will be provided.
7.2. Memberships may be terminated for violations of these Terms, at the Club’s sole discretion.
7.3. You may cancel your membership anytime. Refunds will not be provided for unused classes.
8. Privacy
8.1. Your personal information will be collected, stored, and used in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
8.2. The Club will not share your information with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of UKBJJA.
